Begin each day with gratitude. Let me capitalize that GRATITUDE!

Starting a 28 day challenge of 'writing out 10 things I am grateful for and why' seemed difficult in the beginning. Each day I come up with 10 NEW things, or people that I am thankful for and why. Then I reread the list and say a heartful Thank You after each one. I am on day 20 of the challenge and already see a shift in attitude!

In the freezing weather yesterday, I tripped over a cord on the ground while carrying two heavy buckets of water to a trough. Instead of cursing or feeling sorry for myself, I let out a "Thank You" that I didn't fall all the way to the ground, and that there was still some water left in the buckets. My knee hurt a little from being yanked but I was grateful that I could walk it off. That is the difference that gratitude makes.

If you are looking for gifts this Christmas- why not make someone a Gratitude Journal.

Put a creative label on the front of a notebook:

THE GRATITUDE JOURNAL

10 A Day

and a special pen.

Let them know how much you care about them and why on the inside.

I hope you are all sensing the gratitude I send up for you! I have a feeling this will become a life long habit for me instead of a 28 day challenge.
