Saddle Fitting

Blisters, sore feet, sore legs, and not to mention pure exhaustion, these are the consequences of shoes that do not fit us correctly. I would like to correlate the same scenario with horses and saddles.
When a saddle presses against a horses scapula or pinches the trepezius muscule, they too will suffer pain which often goes undetermined until it is too late.
I know a little about saddle fitting, but I am not an expert. Also, just like you didn't buy one pair of shoes to last the rest of your life- horses develop and lose muscle throughout their life time and may need adjustments to the saddle they wear.
Having a saddle fitter check your horse's saddle, doesnt require you to buy a new saddle. Some saddles can be reflocked to best suite your horses' growing needs. I have sewn speciality blankets for horses that have aged and lost muscle.
The investment of checking your saddle fit is worth the peace of mind!
We have a saddle fitter coming out to the barn Tuesday at 5:30. The cost is $170 to the saddle fitter.
Let me know if you would like to be on the schedule.
