In 2009, THANK YOU!
We had great volunteers that allowed us to help the special education department and families for therapy. Volunteers that came out and built fences, scooped maure, and built shelters. Thank you to Nikke Haffemeyer for organizing the therapy schedule, to the McKinley family for helping with chores every morning, for the additonal pastureland, and for everything, to the krupa family for building so much for us, for all the faithful volunteers that came weekly to help with therapy!
INDOOR:
We built an indoor riding arena for therapy and were able to offer special education classes to school groups thru NOVEMBER! That was a huge blessing. (donations are still needed to help pay off this barn) Several schools attended multiple times throughout the springtime. They truly saw an advantage to the horse back riding for the special children. We had about 35 families come out on a regular basis throughout the summer  for therapy and we offered it 4 times a week.
Community Education cont in 2009- we continued our community ed classes that give affordable lessons on owning and riding horses to the public. They doubled in attendance and several families stayed with us to be volunteers or students.  Thanks to the volunteers that helped with this program also!
SHOWS and 4H:
We had a successful show season attending both jumping shows, dressage, and gaming shows.  Several horses/students attended shows for the first time and recieved 1st and 2nds! We are proud of everyone that attended the shows. Cheri is on the horse consel for 4H and had several clinics for 4H kids this year. We also had our 1st 4H camp overnight that was 6 hours of riding a day! WHEW! 2009 was the first year that CHeri was able to get jumping as a competition at the St Croix County Fair and it was a huge success! YEAH! See you again there next year.

VOLUNTEERS- The biggest most important part of our farm are those that come and help out- THANK you for walking horses during therapy, saddling during horsemanship classes, picking up pony pastures, grooming ponies, painting fences, - You are all very dear to my heart -LOVE,  A big hug  Cheri Morton
